Membership Agreement & Liability Waiver

Membership Agreement

I will pay $60 per year to become an active member of Central Cincinnati Parents upon the expiration of my free one-month trial period. I agree to be a fully participating member of Central Cincinnati Parents. I will volunteer my time and talents to participate in at least one “meals for members” campaign per year by providing a meal for a club member in need.  I will volunteer my time and talents to help plan and participate in at least one event/planning committee throughout the year or join the board. This may be in the form of:

• Planning one major event with a committee (family picnic, trunk or treat, holiday party, Easter egg hunt). –OR–

• Planning and hosting one family or adult event with a committee (firehouse visit, pumpkin patch, cookie decorating, pottery painting, etc) –OR–

• Host an event in your home (Book Club, Speaker Series)

I, the undersigned, understand that this is a volunteer-led organization that functions on volunteer availability. The number of events and frequency of events hosted per year depends solely on volunteer availability. I understand that events may be rescheduled or canceled due to volunteer availability; a volunteer’s changes of life circumstances (work schedules, nap schedules, etc.); or low attendance. We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

Account Termination and Refunds

I, the undersigned, understand that Central Cincinnati Parents may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations or misuse of service. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time. Membership refunds or partial refunds are not provided for memberships canceled during the 12-month billing cycle. I understand that the responsibility to cancel my services prior to the next bill cycle is my own responsibility.

Liability

I, the undersigned, understand that my participation and the participation of any members of my family in any Central Cincinnati Parents group function or program is completely voluntary and I hereby give permission for myself and my family to join in those functions or programs. I shall hold harmless Central Cincinnati Parents, members, volunteers or representatives and/or the providers of any function or program location and/or materials from any accident, illness, injury, or death that occurs during or as a result of any function or program. I accept that the final responsibility for my safety and that of my family rests with me.  I, the undersigned, also understand that Central Cincinnati Parents is not responsible for theft or damage of member property when attending or hosting events.

Right to Modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these conditions periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
